The PIXMA iP6220D Photo Printer makes it even easier to produce beautiful digital photos, right at home. What's the secret to its amazing image quality? First, Canon Full-photolithography Inkjet Nozzle Engineering (FINE) uses an innovative print head with 2,304 nozzles that eject consistent, precise ink droplets as small as 2 picoliters. This patented technology produces an outstanding resolution of up to 4800 x 1200 dpi1, for superb detail and photo-realism. Also, we've added two high-intensity inks - Photo Cyan and Photo Magenta - to the conventional 4 inks, for more accurate color values. This 6 color capability makes the iP6220D photo printer ideal for photo enthusiasts with a discerning eye.

You can see this higher image quality in 4 x 6, 5 x 7 and 8.5 x 11 inch borderless photos, all with the look and feel of conventional photographs. And this printer is fast, too: you can produce a stunning photo lab quality 4"x 6" borderless print in approximately 60 seconds2. Plus, the USB 2.0 Hi-Speed3 interface enables the fastest photo transfers possible from your computer.

Color LCD viewer and direct printing.
Using the built-in 2.5" LCD color viewer gives you greater control over your photo results. Just insert your compatible memory card4 into one of the built-in card slots and view your images in full color. As needed, the PIXMA iP6220D Photo Printer will automatically correct for red eye, improve sharpness and enhance the light values on your subjects' faces. Or, you can fine tune the images yourself using the easy control panel. Then, print directly from the memory card! You can also print directly from a PictBridge compatible digital camera or DV camcorder. You can even print photos directly from an infrared-enabled mobile phone: just shoot, point your phone and print5! And for Bluetooth-equipped mobile phones, PCs and PDAs, this versatile printer is Bluetooth compatible6 with the optional Bluetooth adapter - allowing you to print from another room.

The Canon ChromaLife100 system combines the PIXMA iP6220D Photo Printer's FINE print head technology and newly developed inks with select Canon photo papers, with results rivaling that of many conventional photos.
